From community fencers to national athletes
Marrickville Marauders Fencing Club is a friendly local sporting club based at the Marrickville PCYC for fencers of all ages - from budding youths to adults and senior athletes. Under the leadership of head coach Jess Brooks , the club has been hosting a vibrant, challenging and supportive community since 2009.
Fencing is a safe and exciting sport that develops the skills of body and mind to work together for success.
What we do
From our base at the Marrickville PCYC, we train a community of young athletes and adults in sabre fencing. Our Club sessions are held every Thursday (5.00 - 7.30 pm) and Saturday (9.00 - 11.30 am).
We also run fencing programs at local festivals, fairs, community events and schools across Sydney with a mission to promote and improve access to the sport. We've had experience with many different formats to suit your needs, including workshops, crash-courses, regular classes, demonstrations and more.
Who we are
