The Marrickville Marauders Fencing Club is a friendly local sporting club based at the Marrickville PCYC for young people from 5 - 18 and adults.  Under the leadership of head coach Jess Brooks and coach Garry Huang, the club is lively, challenging and supportive.

Fencing is a safe and exciting sport that develops the skills of body and mind to work together for success.

Due to the current Covid-19 lockdown now extended to 30 September 2021, we will continue to offer online fencing agility, strength and conditioning programs.  Please get in touch.

Our Club

From our base at the Marrickville PCYC we train young people from 5 - 18 years and adults in sabre fencing.  Training is held every Thursday (5.00 - 7.30 pm) and Saturday (10.00 am - 12.30 pm).  Members train and support one another, bout and referee. All compete within the club and many at state, national and international events.

Our Coaches

Jess Brooks is our head coach and is nationally accredited in both sabre and foil.  She is a NSW sabre coach and an assistant national coach and former international fencer retiring in 2012.

Working alongside Jess is coach Garry Huang, also a competitive fencer experienced on the national and international fencing circuit.
